Vowels and Consonants

Written English has 26 letters.  They are broken into two main categories:  vowels and consonants.

English vowels are:  A, E, I, O, U and sometimes Y

English consonants are:  B, C, D, F, G, H, J, K, L, M, N, P, Q, R, S, T, V, W, X, Y, and Z
