Our pattern this week is when we see the letters d g e, especially at the end of the word, we are going to say a j sound. To make a j sound you are going to touch the tip of your tongue to the back of your top front teeth pull the tongue back into the middle of your mouth your lips will be rounded and your voice box is on and moving.
So follow along! I’m going to say the word and then you repeat after me:
nudge
dodge

fudge
edge
smudge
ledge
wedge
pledge
fridge
sludge
acknowledge
knowledge
grudge
Give it a try i know people are going to notice the difference. Please give us your feedback about this new kind of follow along lesson; trying to figure out how to best do this for you.
