Hello everyone jennifer from Tarle speech with your question of the week.
We have three words today and I think this is a very important lesson – it’s summer and I love coffee.
ice – which is frozen water
iced – which means we’re going to make it cold
and ass – which is your behind
Let’s take a look at these three words we have:
All right so for ice, what you’re going to do is you’re going to start with that long I; and to do that you can see my mouth opens I and then it closes to a smile.
For those of you who have asked the difference between ass and ice here you go- this is the difference for ah your mouth just stays open for that short a ass
for ICE you’re going to move to that smile before you say that s sound so let’s look at those again
And you can break those words apart into sounds and practice the individual vowels first; and then put them all together sometimes that helps
Now for iced all we’re going to do is we are going to end that word with a t by touching the tip of your tongue to the back of your top front teeth iced iced iced
so let’s try them all:
ice ice ice
iced iced iced
ass ass ass
and one more time
ice iced and ass
And now for a sentence
I love extra ice in my iced coffee!
I didn’t use ass in there either i couldn’t really think of a sentence but if you have one let me know.
Um so give it a try I know people are going to notice the difference if you found this helpful please share us with our your friends. If you need more help check our products and our classes at Tarle speech thanks everyone have a great week!
