Jennifer is a kind and caring developmental teacher. She took time to evaluate our daughter’s speech delay and developed a learning methodology that suited her needs. Not only did she work with our daughter, but coached us on things to work on with her daily. Our daughter looked forward to sessions with Jennifer and was always excited when she came to the house. With the speech sessions and the guidance from Jennifer, our daughter has made significant progress, for which we are extremely grateful. We could not have asked for a better speech teacher than Jennifer and recommend her to all parents that have concerns about their child’s speech development.
Jennifer was recommended to us by another family at our school. When she first began working with our daughter she had minimal speech abilities. Jennifer was able to assess the problem and calm our concerns. Within a few sessions our daughter was making new sounds and becoming more confident in her abilities. About three months later our daughter was linking words together and shortly after speaking in full sentences. Her personality has blossomed and she has developed a wonderful sense of self due to her ability to communicate with others. Most importantly, Jennifer always made it a game even when it was work. Our daughter would count the days until Jennifer arrived and Jennifer even incorporated our other child into the program. We would highly recommend Jennifer both as a speech therapist and a kind, loving person.
Jennifer was nice enough to help us in continuing our son’s speech therapy when his previous therapist went on maternity leave. In spite of our appreciation for her help, we were concerned about our son’s learning momentum being impaired by acclimating to a new therapist. Much to our surprise, however, Jennifer assessed our son’s needs with such precision that his learning continued to blossom. Jennifer helped our son advance from PEC stage II to PEC stage III and taught my husband and me how to continue our son’s therapy between sessions.
Jennifer was insightful and adept at identifying the areas of development and skills that needed attention for our son’s speech delay. She regularly communicated her thoughts and rational for the techniques she used and helped us learn and understand those techniques so that we can continue to work with Kenneth throughout the week. The sessions were fun; Jennifer kept our son’s attention and he willingly participated in the speech games. We’re very with happy with the progress Kenneth has made and wholeheartedly recommend Jennifer to other parents concerned about their child’s speech and communication development.
Jennifer has been working with our son Mathew for almost a year through Early Intervention. Jennifer really cares about her clients. She takes pride in her work, and is extremely dedicated. When our son first started to work with Jennifer at 17 months he was grunting, and not saying any words. A year later he is combining words and continues to develop. Jennifer is stern but also relaxed during therapy. She does many things out of the box like bringing chewy food items to develop muscles. Jennifer has not only worked on speech with our son, but his entire developmental process. Jennifer has also been a huge help in explaining Early Intervention billing as well as working with our insurance company. She goes above and beyond every session; she feels like a part of our family and is truly excited when our son makes progress.
